There is a moment most people know, even if they have never named it. You walk into a room, a friend’s home, a hotel lobby, a showroom you wandered into without intention, and something stops you. Not loudly. Not with any announcement.
The light is sitting right. The proportions feel considered. There is a chair in the corner that looks like it has always been there, like the room was built around it rather than the other way around. You stand there for a moment longer than you planned, and on the way home, you carry something quiet with you. A feeling. A want that does not quite have words yet.
